Introduction

Patient Safety is a priority strategy in the Spanish National Health Service, developed according to the World Alliance for Patient Safety of the WHO.

Since 2005 the Quality Agency of the Ministry of Health and Consumer Affairs has been organizing symposiums, seminars and international conferences, as well as other activities designed to raise awareness, increase knowledge and improve culture in connection with Patient Safety.
