Salud sexual y reproductiva
En la actualidad, existe un marco
normativo que favorece la inclusión del enfoque de género en la producción
de la información, ya que la Ley Orgánica 3/2007 de 22 de marzo, para la
igualdad efectiva de mujeres y hombres, en su artículo 20, menciona
expresamente la necesidad de adecuar las estadísticas y los estudios a la
perspectiva de género. Para garantizar la integración de este enfoque en la
producción de los sistemas de información, estudios y estadísticas, la ley
indica entre otros aspectos:
1) Establecer e incluir en las operaciones estadísticas nuevos indicadores que posibiliten un mejor conocimiento de las diferencias en los valores, roles, situaciones, condiciones, aspiraciones y necesidades de mujeres y hombres, su manifestación e interacción en la realidad que se vaya a analizar.
2) Diseñar e introducir los indicadores y mecanismos necesarios que permitan el conocimiento de la incidencia de otras variables cuya concurrencia resulta generadora de situaciones de discriminación múltiple en los diferentes ámbitos de intervención.
3) Incluir sistemáticamente la variable de sexo en las estadísticas, encuestas y recogida de datos que lleven a cabo.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY OF THE NATIONAL SURVEY OF SEXUAL HEALTH (2009)
At present, there is regulatory framework that encourages the inclusion gender perspective in the production of information, from the Organic Law 3/2007 on 22 March for the effective equality between women and men. In Article 20, it specifically mentions the need to adapt the statistics and studies to the gender perspective. To guarantee the integration of this approach in the production of information systems, studies and statistics, the law states the following:
1) It establishes and includes new statistical indicators in the operations that enable a better understanding of the differences in values, roles, situations, conditions, aspirations and the needs of women and men, and in reality their expressions and interactions that are going to be analyzed.
2) It designs and introduces the indicators and mechanisms necessary to allow the understanding of the impact of other variables, whose presence generates situations of multiple discrimination in different areas of intervention.
3) It systematically includes the sex variable in the statistics, surveys and the data collection which is carried out.
